He completed his second master's degree in detectors, instrumentation and imaging in radiation physics at the University of Strasbourg.

She obtained her baccalaureate in radiochemistry at the Higher Institute of Technologies and Applied Sciences in Havana. She continued her studies there by completing her master's degree in radiochemical sciences.
